William Blaine Emmett graduated with high honors (3.98 gpa) today from Springville High school. 

All of my photos were taken from the second to top row of the bleachers. 

The yellow cord around Will's neck and the + sign by his name means he graduated with high honors with (a gpa between 3.7 and 3.99). As a soccer player Will was also awarded Academic All Region for his high gpa. The white cord around his neck symbolizes that he completed a Career Pathway (for taking several photography and yearbook classes).

Neighbor Katie Harlow was the Salutatorian. 

As the graduates filed out to get in line to get their diploma, a pipe band played. A nice touch.

I had to ask Sarah about what I thought was Will clicking his fingers. It is a Korean symbol that has spread world wide and symbolizes a heart and love.

Twins Korben and Kaleb have been good high school friends of Will. This Saturday theses three and seven other friends our bound for a senior trip in So Cal. 

Off to afternoon kindergarten at Brookside.

Graduation day

We had a gathering for friends, neighbors and family this evening in our back yard. I was the grill master so no photos were taken except for this collage of photos of Will through the years.
