Last night at Brookside Elementary the third graders put on a delightful patriotic program. Will and his friend Trevin (lower left in red) recited loudly and without a flaw their part about "C" things associated with America: "C is for cities that reach into the blue like Chicago, Cleveland, Charlotte and Cincinnati too and it is for the constitution that guides us through the day written for we the people to find a better way." In between student recitations about the alphabet of America they sang songs like You're a Grand O' Flag/Yankee Doodle (watch here click), This is My Country, an armed forces medley, and We're coming to America (shouting Today in photo above) (watch here click). Thirty minutes of enjoyment.
